Peanut butter powder is made from real peanuts and converted to a free flowing powdered product that yields a pure peanut flour. Healthy Peanut Butter Recipe
For one serving
4 Tbsp of Hoosier Hill Farm Peanut Butter Powder (1/4 of a cup)
4 Tbsp of water
A dash of Hoosier Hill Farm Sea Salt (more or less to taste)
1 tsp of sugar or any sweetener of choice
1/2 to 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
Peanut flour mixes part for part with water. For a creamier consistency, add more liquid, and for a denser consistency, add less. Consider adding crushed peanuts as well for "crunchy" peanut butter.
Peanut Powder Cookies
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
3/4 cup Hoosier Hill Farm Peanut Butter Powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
HEAT oven to 350°F. Beat butter and sugar on medium speed with electric in large bowl until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat just until blended.
ADD flour, peanut powder, baking soda and salt. Stir until combined. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart onto baking sheet. Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern with tines of fork.
BAKE one baking sheet at a time 8 to 10 minutes, or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to cooling racks to cool completely.
Peanut Butter Powder Brownies
1 large egg
1 large egg white
1 cup Hoosier Hill Farm Peanut Butter Powder
1/2 cup Hoosier Hill Farm Natural Cocoa Powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp water
1/2 cup raw honey
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Spray a nonstick 9 x 9 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
Beat the egg and egg white in a small bowl with a whisk.
In a large bowl combine the peanut butter powder, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda and mix well with a spatula. Add the egg and egg whites and stir. Add water, honey, vanilla and stir with a spatula until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and bake about 30 minutes. Set aside to cool, then cut into 12 bars cutting 3 rows x 4 rows.
Peanut Chipotle Rubbed Pork Chops Recipe
Makes: 4 servings
2 Tbsp Hoosier Hill Farm Peanut Butter Powder
1 Tbsp Hoosier Hill Farm Chipotle Morita Chili Powder
2 tsp coconut sugar (or your favorite dark sugar)
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp medium roast ground coffee
1 tsp salt
1 to 1 ¼ lb. center cut loin chops (4 chops about ½-inch thick)
2 tbsp olive oil (or your favorite cooking oil)
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
In a small dish, stir together the peanut butter powder, chile powder, sugar, ginger, coffee and salt. Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and then coat each evenly with the dry rub.
Heat the oil over medium-high in a large cast iron skillet. Place the pork chops in the skillet (they should sizzle). Cook for 1 minute and flip. Place the skillet in the oven and baked for 6 to 7 minutes, until the chops are cooked through. (Pork should reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.)
Let rest 2 to 3 minutes and serve.
