Goat Milk Quiche
- ½ cup Hoosier Hill Farm Goat Milk Powder
- ¾ cup water
- 1 9” unbaked pie crust
- ½ cup swiss cheese, diced
- ¼ lb bacon, sliced into 1 inch pieces
- 3 eggs
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- ⅛ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp chives, chopped
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
Step one: Unroll pie crust into a dish and brush with one egg white. Poke holes around the crust with a fork. Preheat oven to 350F.
Step two: Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until almost crisp. Drain on a paper towel.
Step three: Mix together Goat Milk Powder and water until well combined. Bring milk to a boil in a saucepan and cool slightly. Beat together with the remaining eggs and seasonings.
Step four: Place bacon and cheese into the bottom of the pie crust. Pour milk and seasoning mixture over it and bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
