Pair it with potatoes for a creamy casserole or pour it over pasta for an out-of-the-ordinary mac and cheese. Plus, it’s gluten-free, trans fat-free, and GMO-free. Make real food real fast with Hoosier Hill Farms Instant Cheese Sauce Mixes.

How to Use: To make a basic Beer Cheese Sauce, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove water from heat and whisk in ⅓ cup of Instant Beer Cheese Sauce, stirring thoroughly for a smooth and creamy consistency. Allow sauce to stand for 1-2 more minutes until slightly thickened. Serve the sauce with pasta, potatoes, sausages, burgers, and more!

For a Beer Cheese dip recipe, follow the instructions for a basic sauce noted above, but increase the Instant Beer Cheese Sauce Mix to ½ cup for a thicker consistency. Serve with soft pretzel bites, kettle-cooked potato chips, or fries.

For a Beer Cheese soup base, follow the instructions for a basic sauce noted above, but decrease the Instant Beer Cheese Sauce Mix to ¼ cup.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing cheese sauce mixes.

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Step one: In a large heavy bottomed pot, like a dutch oven, cook the bacon over medium-high heat until crispy. Remove and chop then set aside on a plate lined with paper towel. Remove any extra bacon grease from the pan, leaving about 1 tablespoon behind.

Step two: Add butter, celery, jalapeño, onion, red bell pepper and garlic and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes, until softened.

Step three: Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Step four: After broth is boiling, remove from heat and add in Hoosier Hill Farm Beer Cheese Sauce Mix. Whisk sauce mixture until smooth.

Step five: Stir in half the bacon.

Step six: Top with the rest of bacon, chopped chives and shredded cheddar cheese. Enjoy with some toasted bread!
