White Cheddar Cheese Powder

I actually like to make Mac and Cheese ALOT so when looking around for quick and easy mac recipes on youtube I found this powder. I was a little nervous because of the quantity it comes in, however its so tasty you will definitely use it all. I was able to use it for my mac of course, but also as a nice side to have ready for veggies as needed (picture). Requires a little enhancing to get to the consistency you may want, but the flavor is top notch.

Good quality product makes it easy to make mac & cheese at the drop of a hat. Very happy with it. Highly recommend.

The flavor is great ,no clumpiness

We love the White Cheddar Cheese Powder, sprinkling it generously over popcorn. We live in the UK, and get 2-4 pounds each time we visit the USA. What's the one thing we miss the most from the USA, okay, our families, and then popcorn cheese powder (with no salt or sugar or flavouring, just cheese)

weird texture and bad taste. I really wanted to like this, because of how much I like white cheddar boxed mac and cheese... I'll probably give it another try in a few months and remember just how bad it was.

This powdered cheese is sour and doesn't taste very cheesy. I bought it to use on popcorn and have made cheese popcorn several times with this, but no one eats it after the first few bites.

This product has no taste for white cheddar cheese flavor. I would not recommend for putting on popcorn which is why it was bought. After trying money just wasted.

The lid appears to have been superglued hightight and unable to remove, wow.

Not sure why there is 3g of sugar but you can taste it. When you first take a bite it tastes more like kettle corn.

I wanted to like this product but it just doesn’t have a really cheesy flavor. The main ingredient is whey protein. If you’ve ever made a protein shake with unflavored whey protein you’ll begin to understand the issue. It has a cheesy flavor that can work for soups and sauces but it’s way too faint for popcorn -for me. Idk if the whey is a stabilizer or a filler. Either way it’s a pass for me.

Does not taste good.

This has a taste that I don’t think any “cheese”has. It’s off and I’m not even going to use it for popcorn. Not for me.

The flavor of this just wasn't particularly good. I put it on popcorn and I've found that King Arthur White Cheddar powder is better and worth the extra money in my opinion.

Disappointed in this product. Cheese flavor was ok but not strong enough Also had a slightly sweet flavor. Powder sticks to your fingers strongly. Will not purchase this brand again.

I was getting tired of getting to the bottom of my Pub Mix and feeding the birds the remaining pretzels, so I thought i would give this a try. Dipped my pretzel in it, and tasted it. Then i made sure the next pretzel had plenty of powder, and it tasted way too bland. The front label says "sprinkle it on popcorn for a bold cheese flavor", but not so bold after all.

Loved the flavor but it definitely is salty. I used the cheese powder in combination with other block cheeses in casseroles and it boosted the flavor nicely. Just be prepared to drink plenty of water.

it's lacking the cheese taste I was hoping for

It’s just okay. I was spoiled by a high end product and needed a better value. This just doesn’t have the gourmet flavor as the more expensive brands. It clumps a bit but does have a mildly cheddar flavor. It will work for my kiddos Mac and cheese but I won’t be using it for my popcorn.

I had hoped for a stronger cheddar flavor. Instead, to my taste buds it is not all that different from the less expensive buttermilk powder I can get at the local grocery store.

Honestly, I didn’t care for the taste of this. I could taste the cheese, but also had a bit of old flavor to it. Like a cheese that sat in a refrigerator too long, or musty warehouse. I’m sure with a little creativity a good cook could make this sauce sing though

Just OK...purchased to use on popcorn but it's not the best.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got tired of paying for white cheddar popcorn (that comes in a small bag), as well as the (orange) cheddar pasta. I prefer white cheddar... this container of REAL white cheddar cheese will pay for itself before I use half of it.If I only use it to flavor popcorn, it will pay for itself after 5 servings! I plan on using it on Yakisoba noodles as well... I think white cheddar tastes better than the mild or sharp (orange) cheddar cheese.I'm going to try it with parmesan, to make cheese 'chips' in thr air fryer... as well as sprinking it on cauliflower.

This is edible, but simply has too much whey added in, and doesn't taste like cheddar cheese - it tastes like whey powder or a coffee creamer.

Tastes sorta artificial and clumps. Good alternative to Annie’s but there are better options.

The flavor was very subtle

Wish it came with a shakable option.

I would buy it more often because it’s great, but it’s very expensive

Excellent popcorn seasoning. This is my 4th 2# buy.
