Hoosier Hill Farm Butter Powder is a delicious and versatile ingredient made with real butter churned from sweet cream. A great addition to soups, sauces, and homemade mixes, our Butter Powder is made with 100% hormone-free milk, contains no fillers, and is naturally gluten-free.
How To Use: Add to baking mixes for muffins, pancakes, cookies, and cake to add rich flavor. Sprinkle over steamed vegetables or mix with salt for an easy popcorn topping. Use in frostings and fillings for baked goods to achieve a stiff, pipeable consistency without adding extra sugar.
Making Butter from Butter Powder: Mix 1/2 cup of powder with 2 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl. Use a fork or a small whisk to stir until smooth and thick to make 1/4 cup of soft, spreadable butter. If the consistency is too thin, add more powder 1 teaspoon at a time.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place for maximum shelf life. We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing powdered butter.

butter powder was received...used 1/2 C +2 Tbsp water as instructed...used the resulting butter on toast--very dry but not unexpected since fat has been removed from powder
HOWEVER, left resulting butter in a covered butter dish on the countertop while I was out of town for 3 days...opened butter dish this morning & butter was COVERED in mold
It mixes nicely with cold water. Has a gritty texture until the water saturates. Really didn’t check the ingredients until now. So even though it says real butter, which it is, the other ingredients take up space. Nonfat dry milk and least we not forget salt. Definitely don’t need to add salt. It’s easy to calculate doses. I needed 2 tbsp of butter, so 1/4 cup powered butter, 1 tbsp cold water, will equal = 2 tbsp of butter. The taste reminds me of the real butter in the Philippines. Tastes like butter but not quite there. But, no one should expect it to taste exactly like butter. Anywho, we need it so that one doesn’t have to add an extra ingredient in the end.

I’ve ordered this canned butter before and it is awesome! I’m one of those halfhearted peppers and we love butter so I’m putting a couple of cans in the storage room… just in case! However if the zombies don’t appear in a year or so, we will use this for our every day needs.

The products are great, but their customer service not so much. A few days ago I received my order. One product was shipped by itself in the package. It arrived with the container totally demolished and the product was all spilled out in the bag. I sent them pics of how it arrived and notified them via email and through the cs link and as a reply to their email. I've yet to hear anything back from them.

Absolutely No mixing instructions
Just use butter. Bought it for popcorn not a big difference in taste.. almost like powdered popcorn might as well eat it plain
Great idea to worthless in seconds. Unfortunately we didn't notice until we started mixing ingredients.*packaged in a facility shared by treenuts, peanuts, dairy, soy, and wheat products.Hope that helps someone else avoid the same disappointment or worse.
Doesn’t mix well ... clumps formed even after its mixed vigorously ... item is non refundable so I would not suggest buying it online because in stores at least u can return it if u dont like it ! Out of money on this one ...
I do not care for the taste of this butter. I purchased it with the intention of using it as a seasoning on popcorn. The flavor tastes strange to me, not like the flavor of fresh melted butter at all. I would not purchase it again.
