Hoosier Hill Farm’s Premium Cheddar Cheese Powder is the natural choice for your kitchen, free from artificial colors and flavoring with bold cheese flavor. Premium Cheddar Cheese Powder offers the same great taste of our best-selling cheddar cheese flavor with no artificial colors. We make this premium powder by removing the moisture from real cheese and using natural colorings made from paprika and annatto seeds. We use three pounds of cheese to produce two pounds of powder, so every batch is packed with quality ingredients that guarantee rich, savory flavor. Sprinkle it on everything and anything to make it taste cheesier!
How to Use: Try it sprinkled over popcorn, pretzels, or vegetables like broccoli and baked potatoes. Blend into sauces, casseroles, and homemade mac and cheese. To season chips, crackers, or other snacks, add 2-4 tablespoons of cheese powder to a zip-top bag. Add your snacks, seal the bag, and then shake to coat.
Make a Basic Cheese Sauce: To mix a cheddar cheese sauce, melt 1/4 cup of butter or margarine over medium heat in a small saucepan. Once melted, add 1/4 cup of milk and whisk in 2 tablespoons of Premium Cheddar Powder to the pan. Heat until sauce reaches 180F, then cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thickened . Serve with french fries, soft pretzels, or tortilla chips. Or, pour the sauce over cooked pasta for an easy stovetop macaroni and cheese.
Storage: Store powder in a cool, dry place. We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing cheese powders.

Exactly what we’ve been looking for for our popcorn. I grew up with cheddar powder and yeast on my popcorn from a local movie theater. Great product. But shipping takes too long. I can order something from Alaska All the way down to Key West and get it here in 4 days, and your shipping method takes a week and a 1/2. UPS ground saver is the slowest service they offer And it's not that much more inexpensive or cost saving.

I bought this Premium Cheddar Cheese powder to use in mac n cheese as well as on popcorn...what a GREAT product! the flavor is amazing and absolutely delicious on popcorn...I used it in mac n cheese and it was far better than Kraft Mac n Cheese, which I love, but it the flavor aspect has degraded somewhat over the years...I also added in some of the Heavy Cream powder to the cheese powder and it made the mac n cheese very creamy...I will definitely buy this cheese powder again in future!
