Buttermilk Powder

Omg!!! I am always throwing out buttermilk before i use it all. I made two batches of buttermilk biscuits yesterday ans vacuum.sealed a bunch for her. You cant tell the difference. I bought the smaller size to try it out. My mom ans I LOVE THIS!!!

Been using to make homemade ranch and its working great. I used it for Christmas gifts this year.

I use this to make my own buttermilk biscuit mix and buttermilk ranch dressing mix. It's fantastic!

I have not used powdered buttermilk before so I cannot compare it to other brands. I used this for the first time to make muffins. They turned out great. I will be using it instead of liquid going forward.

I didn’t like the butter milk

II ended up with normal milk powder instead of buttermilk powder.The was two labels one as milk and the other as buttermilk, so I was not able to determine which was true until I used the product. At that point it was too late to return it.

Doesn't have a buttermilk taste or smell !

When mixed as directed, result is white water, essentially. Even at 4 times the amount of powder, tastes nothing like buttermilk & is still thin & watery.

This stuff tastes more like regular powdered milk than buttermilk. Best to just skip it and get the real thing.

This did not taste anything like buttermilk, it tastes more like half and half. My biscuits turned out ok, but I will not buy this again.

This buttermilk powder is ok but lacks the tanginess of regular buttermilk. Fine for shelf stable baking mixes but your baked items will be missing a little something. So far I haven't found a buttermilk powder that's does have that tangy quality.

It doesn't taste like butter milk it's the freshness is great 👍 value for your 💰

Doesn't work as well as the liquid. But it lasts longer!

The container was crushed and leaking when received although the shipping box was not damaged. Product leaked in the box. Not usable as I don’t know what could have gotten into the container. Since it’s a food item there’s no option for return or replacement. I’m sure the product is good but this container is not usable. Will reorder and try again.

Too much fat that doesn't dissolve properly when mixed or stirred.

Hot necessarily think this is a good value for the money due to you really have to work with it to get it to blend with water, it tastes OK so the only thing I use it for to blend it up and use it to cook chicken or food before I cook it. The shelf life seems to be good, it’s thick and the size is great. I wish the texture was smoother to it.

Didn't have the tangyness that I expected.

I bought this to avoid having to buy cartons of buttermilk for infrequent recipes, but was somewhat disappointed as it far thinner when mixed than the real thing and I don’t notice it takes like real buttermilk

I was very surprised when I received this that there were no mixing instructions on the container. Luckily, they had the instructions on their website.

It reminds me of USDA Powdered milk mixed with yogurt and rested for a day makes a very drinkable low cost buttermilk.

It has a nice consistency when mixed up, but has no flavor what so ever

Old outdated product sold as fresh new.

I don't see how this is any different from regular milk powder. It works well as regular milk powder in baking, but it absolutely does NOT add any tang to your biscuits or other baked goods the way real buttermilk or other buttermilk powders I've used do. I also tried it to make buttermilk dressing and it just tasted sweet.

This taste like milk powder instead of buttermilk powder. Not satisfied because of it’s taste.

It clumps, flavor good but not worth it.

This buttermilk powder has a nice flavor but is entirely lacking any tartness. If you’ve ever tasted buttermilk straight, you’ll know what mean. One of the main flavor components of fresh buttermilk is the acidic bite it has. I added a bit of tartaric acid and the hydrated product was closer in flavor to buttermilk but still pretty obviously a powdered milk product, even in biscuits. I don’t think there’s any dry substitute for real buttermilk but this powder is better than most and doesn’t have additives.

Product works well in recipes but is supposed to have a 3 year shelf life. The product I received expires in Jan of 2022. Can't retuen and message to the seller went unanswered. Bottom line good product but purchase from someone else.

It tasted nothing at all like buttermilk. Just had regular milk flavor. It’s a good powder so I can use it but very disappointed.

Not a good substitute for the real thing. Tastes nothing like buttermilk. Won’t buy again.
