Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Hoosier Hill Farm Chocolate Melting Wafers are rich, delicious, and easy to use: simply microwave and dip or drizzle! With a silky-smooth texture and a bold chocolate flavor, these chocolate candy melts are a dessert chef's best friend. Easily make chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate-covered cherries, chocolate-dipped pretzels, and more! Use chocolate wafers for baking, to decorate cakes or cookies, and to make impressive chocolate desserts easily. Your creations will set at room temperature in minutes, so there's no need to refrigerate or freeze before you enjoy them.

Instructions for Dipping with Chocolate Candy Melts: Add Hoosier Hill Farm Chocolate Melting Wafers to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals on 50% power, stirring in between intervals, until wafers are completely melted. Dip treats directly into the melted candy wafers, allowing excess to drip off, then set on a plate or baking sheet lined with wax paper, parchment, or a silicone baking mat. If desired, top dipped treats with sprinkles, chopped nuts, or cookie crumbles while coating is still warm. The coating will harden at room temperature, so there's no need to chill before serving. Store any leftover dipped treats in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 days.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. We do not recommend freezing melting wafers.

Packaged in a facility that processes dairy, soy, peanuts, and wheat products.

Ingredients

Directions

Step one: Wash strawberries and thoroughly pat dry with paper towels. The chocolate will not stick to the berry if it’s too moist. Line a baking sheet or plate with waxed paper or parchment and set aside.

Step two: Add Hoosier Hill Farm Chocolate Melting Wafers to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 30-second intervals, stirring every 30 seconds, until wafers are completely melted and smooth. This will take about 2 minutes.

Step three: Carefully holding a strawberry by its leaves, dip it into the melted chocolate until it’s about ¾ coated. You can also use a toothpick, skewer, or fondue fork to dip your berries.

Step four: Gently shake the berry to remove any excess chocolate, then place on the waxed paper-covered plate. If desired, decorate the dipped strawberries with sprinkles or chopped nuts while the chocolate is still warm. Let the chocolate covered strawberries set at room temperature for 5-10 minutes, or until chocolate is completely set.
