Hoosier Hill Farm Instant Nonfat Dry Milk Powder is made from 100% hormone-free, fat-free milk. It's great to keep on hand for cooking, baking, or any time you need a refreshing glass of milk. High in protein and rich in nutrients, this convenient instant milk powder has a sweet, pleasing flavor, just like fresh milk. Nonfat milk powder is also an easy, healthy addition to smoothies, energy bites, oatmeal, and your favorite baked goods.

How To Use Instant Nonfat Milk Powder: Add to smoothies and milkshakes for extra creaminess and protein. Blend into soups and sauces for a rich, velvety texture. Add Nonfat Milk Powder to homemade baking mixes and hot cocoa mix.

Mixing Instructions for Liquid Milk: To make one quart of nonfat milk, mix 3 3/4 cups of cold water with 1 cup instant nonfat dry milk powder. Stir to combine, then drink right away or use in any recipe calling for liquid milk. We recommend using a glass container to mix your instant milk if available. Liquid milk made with instant milk powder will keep in the refrigerator for 5-7 days after mixing when covered tightly.

Storage: Store powder in a cool, dry place to prolong shelf life. We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing dairy powders.

Hoosier Hill Farm brings the goodness of 100% real milk, butter, buttermilk, and cream to our best-selling range of dairy powders. Add wholesome flavor to your favorite baked goods, desserts, sauces, and seasonings straight from the shelf. Our Heavy Cream Powder, Buttermilk Powder, Cream Cheese Powder, and more, are the perfect additions to your pantry.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup Hoosier Hill Farm Instant Milk Powder
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

Step one: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step two: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until combined.

Step three: In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients to combine. Slowly mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix until dough forms. Chill the dough in the fridge for at least one hour.

Step four: Roll the dough into smooth balls. Roll each ball in granulated sugar.

Step five: Place dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Press down each ball of dough with your hand, making them into your desired size cookie.

Step six: Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes until the cookies set and begin to brown. Then pull them out and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
