The Big Daddy Mac and Cheese Recipe: In a small saucepan, heat 1/4 cup of milk and 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the butter is melted. Whisk in 1/3 cup Hoosier Hill Farm Big Daddy Mac Mix. Add 1-1 1/2 cups of your favorite cooked pasta (we like elbow macaroni) to the sauce and stir to combine. Makes 2 servings of easy, delicious Big Daddy Mac and Cheese.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing cheese or other dairy powders.

I was looking for a way to make Mac and cheese still taste the same for my kid, but use my own noodles. This delivered perfectly. My kid - who can tell the difference in taste between the microwave Kraft Mac & cheese and the stovetop Kraft Mac & cheese, approves of this cheese mix. The taste is perfect. I’m sure you can use it for lots of other dishes, but I really just wanted to make mac & cheese.I read a lot of reviews before purchasing, and I think the people who complain about grittiness just aren’t mixing it enough. The instructions clearly say to mix the power with your milk/butter, and then add that to your drained noodles. It mixes easily for me - but I also use a mini-frother to easily mix it into the liquid.
This is really good! Now I can make gluten free stovetop Mac and cheese with any macaroni that I want to. Today’s choice was Goodles high protein/fiber loopy macaroni.You have to prepare your cheese sauce separately and it thickens up. I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying it came out thin but I think as long as you stir it well and heat it separately and stir well, it was pretty thick.The salty isn’t too bad either. Planning on using this to make a cheesy spice mix for potatoes too.
So yummy and easy! My favorite way to make Mac and cheese! A while back, Kr*** came out with the Mac and cheese powder you could sprinkle on whatever and I loved it. Well then I couldn’t find it in the store so I started looking online and found this brand. Read the reviews and they seemed pretty good so I decided to try it. This is my second jar…. It’s good! Simple, cook whatever noodles you want, drain, add a bit of milk and butter then some of the Big Daddy Mac!

This is really good! More potent than I expected. I will adjust the amounts for our liking, I think I need to switch the milk vs powder portions. 1/4 cup of the powder to 1/3 cup of milk. I made it as called for and I had to add extra milk because it was sooooo strong. With a couple adjustments I will be a happy Mac and cheese maker again. That brand that starts with a K tastes watered down these days. So I am happy I found this for those times I want the old comfort boxed Mac and cheese from days past
This is great to have on hand to make mac n' cheese with any noodles, that I know my kids will eat. It tastes better than Kraft. I only wish that they could make an "orange version" with natural dyes, or that their dye free option wasn't more expensive. I feel like this is a little pricey, which is why I can't give it 5 stars, but other than that it's a great product!
I haven’t weighed the product but just by looking at it it looks like it should be filled up at least an inch more. Just looks like some is missing ie not getting your moneys worth. Bought as a gift so I haven’t tried might update once I get a review of flavor.

This is my 2nd time purchasing the Mac & cheese powder.. my kids like it and it’s much more affordable to keep this on hand. But the container arrived like this- not even close to the top filled. ? I do not remember it this low the first time I ordered. Plus it’s still sealed so you can see this is how it arrived. Frustrating and concerned.. maybe I’ll go back to the previous brand I used.. this doesn’t seem right or fair..?
No taste just a color
HEAVENLY so I love the Kraft Mac mix but I don’t like wasting the rest so I just eat this and my family knows it so I got one just for myself for Christmas and it was AMAZING the orange color and the flavor, now im someone who likes the clumps but if you don’t want the clumps use dry spoons when mixing it.

Tastes like the blue box but way better and you can use way more of it. I use it with garlic butter and sour cream instead of milk and it always turns out amazing. Neon orange like you want it to be and yep it's basically just whey protein like you want it to be. Kind of pricey but I'd still say totally worth it.
