High-Protein Peanut Butter Protein Bites

Hoosier Hill Farm Peanut Butter Powder is made with 100% roasted peanuts, with no added salt or sugar. This versatile powdered peanut butter is the quickest and easiest way to add rich peanut flavor to any dish, with less fat and calories than traditional peanut butter.

How to Use Peanut Butter Powder: Try adding this protein-rich pantry staple to cookies, bars, and homemade baking mixes. When baking, combine the powder with dry ingredients like flour and sugar for the smoothest consistency. Blend directly into smoothies and protein shakes for a nutrient boost. Whisk into soups and sauces for bold flavor and velvety texture. Sprinkle it over ice cream or yogurt for a tasty topping.

Mixing Instructions for Spread: In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of powder with 1 tablespoon of water until smooth. If the texture's too thick, add more water 1 teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 2 days. We do not recommend mixing large batches of spread, as it's best when used fresh.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing.

Note: 25 lb products will arrive in a bag.

Total Time 45 minutes
Yields About 24 bites (8 servings of 3)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Hoosier Hill Farm High Protein Goat Milk Powder
  • 3/4 cup Hoosier Hill Farm Peanut Butter Powder
  • 1/2 cup water, plus more as needed
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Make the peanut butter base. In a large bowl, whisk the peanut butter powder with 1/2 cup water into a thick, smooth paste. Add water a teaspoon at a time if it is too thick.
  2. Add honey and vanilla. Stir in the honey and vanilla until glossy and combined.
  3. Add the protein and dry ingredients. Add the goat milk protein powder, oats, ground flaxseed, and chocolate chips. Stir until evenly combined. The mixture should hold together when pressed. Add water a teaspoon at a time if it is dry.
  4. Chill. Cover and refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes so the mixture firms up and is easier to roll.
  5. Roll and store. Roll into about 24 one-inch bites. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Tips

  • Balance the moisture. Two powders make a thirsty dough. If it crumbles, add water a teaspoon at a time until it holds; if it is sticky, add a spoonful of oats.
  • Adjust the sweetness. Both powders are unsweetened, so the honey sets the sweetness. Taste before rolling.
  • Portion for protein. Rolled at about 24 bites, three bites is roughly a 12g-protein serving. Keep the bites a consistent size so the serving math holds.
  • Freeze a batch. They keep up to three months in the freezer, ready to grab.
